It was a vacation in the sense that we were not at home, but you know that feeling of needing another vacation to recover from this one?

There’s a theme lately. It’s been so hot that all we do is play in the river or the pool. I promise that the water was really brown before I sat in it… My little hill billies.

Despite the forecast of scattered t-storms throughout the entire south east, we ventured to the mountains anyway for Wolfgang’s birthday. Showing the  boys salamanders. Walking up to clingman’s dome through the clouds. See this rock? I wonder how it tastes? Taking a break. He’s so happy running around.
