Savannah was not our original destination. We wanted to go skiing for Super Bowl weekend. Wolfgang took the following Monday off and we were watching the weather. It did show some possible precipitation on Sunday and we were on the fence about going or not. We’ve been there when it was snowing/icing before and it was not an experience we would like to repeat. However, I got sick that Friday and had a fever. That pretty much ended the the skiing option. After a day, my fever was gone and we decided to go south and towards the coast to Savannah. Savannah is never a bad choice. We walked a lot, had good food, and warmer weather!
This was our first time to stay at the Westin. I think it quickly became our favorite. It’s away from the crowds and the boys get a ferry ride. This was our view from the hotel room.
No trip would be complete without Tubby’s.
Alex kept asking to go to the beach again. So we went. I love the beach too.

Christopher loves this pose:
Alex decided to throw sand in the air. This did not end well.
Happy again.
