Spring Break Day 4:
When we decided to go to Disney World, I immediately booked the trip so we could get our room, magic bands, and most importantly, the fast passes. Folks, do not attempt to go to Disney World without fast passes. Trust me. You do not want to try this. Unfortunately, by this time, the fast passes for the Seven Dwarfs Mine train were already gone. This is Magic Kingdom’s newest roller coaster. Last year, when we were there, they were doing empty test runs and were not open yet. If you’ve ever been to Disney, or any theme park, and stood in the stands-by line for a popular ride, you’re feeling my pain right now.
***** We are currently on Day two of the Magic Kingdom and in line for the mine train for the second time today. All they want to ride are coasters. It’s too bad they are too short to go to a park with predominantly roller coasters. (I decided to start blogging while waiting in line. ) The weather has been perfect for the past two days. It was overcast, and not hot. It was the perfect weather.*****
The plan this day was to get to Magic Kingdom early and head straight to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I think everyone had the same idea. We left the resort a little bit later than expected. The shuttle bus getting there was packed. We were standing inside like sardines. The stand-by line for the mine train was 90 minutes, and wrapped around outside. The cast member holding the sign said that the wait is never less than 60 minutes. We endured and it was worth it. The boys had a blast!
Waiting in line:
It was worth it. Check out the picture of us,but also the car in front. Hilarious!
We then headed over to the Mad Tea Party (the teacups). The boys and Wolfgang loved spinning the wheel to make us spin faster and faster.
