Father’s Day Weekend

We went to the Smokies for Father’s Day weekend again. The forecast called for rain, and we went anyway. We’re hardcore like that. It rained on the way in, but the next day, it was only cloudy. So Wolfgang checked the weather and we stayed close to shelter for the rainy parts of the day. However, you know how predictable weather is right?

We found some cool things along the way:

When you’re in the wilderness without tissue paper:

We hiked up and as soon as we got up to the top, took a picture, it started to rain. It didn’t just drip drip rain, it poured! We couldn’t get our ponchos on in time. We were soaked!

Well, did you know that there is a really good Corky’s BBQ in Sevierville, TN? We know now. It’s really good. Corky’s gets a little iffy once you leave the Memphis area, but this one is a good one. IT could also be that we just finished this hike in the rain. Luckily, we brought a change of clothes for everyone.
