Thanksgiving Cruise Part II

The next morning, we were supposed to dock in Turks and Caicos. Wolfgang had planned to dive there, and the boys and I were going to get breakfast and then walk to the nearest beach for the day. While we were at breakfast, I noticed that we were getting closer to docking, but never docked. Finally, the captain came on the overhead speakers and said that it was too windy to dock, and he would have to turn the ship around. We were going to spend another day at sea and go to Nassau, Bahamas instead and be there on Thanksgiving Day. People were not happy. I understand why we went to the Bahamas because it was closer to our port, on the way home and had a larger port to accommodate more ships. Our cruise ship and another ship joined the already scheduled ships in Nassau. We waited half a day to see what type of excursions were available and had tried to reschedule our Seuss Breakfast that was planned for Thanksgiving morning.
