We disembarked the ship early in the morning and were the second group to leave. That helped because we drove to the Okefenokee Swamp for another canoe trip with alligators.  According to the boys who were keeping count, we spotted 84 alligators. Think what you will of that. I’m sure there were more we didn’t see to count…  Remember that we were in a drought. We didn’t get to canoe to all of the places because the water levels were pretty low.

Crossing the waters:
