Utah Part I: Moab-Arches National Park

I know… radio silence. But I’m back to update a few trips. They won’t necessarily be edited versions of the photos, but my standards have change a bit because I’d like to have them posted rather than perfect.  These are not necessarily in order and may be shuffled around a bit until I finish.

We flew into Salt Lake City, rented a car and drove to Moab, where we spent the first couple of nights. We saw the Delicate Arch and did the Fiery Furnace maze without a guide. A storm blew in when we were hiking to the Delicate Arch. I didn’t venture down to the arch, but the boys and Wolfgang are bravery. I didn’t want to be air lifted out for getting blown off balance. On the hike back, when we were getting blown around on a ledge, Wolfgang turned his head, and the wind blew glasses off his face down a cliff. When we were down a bit and could cross, he and the boys looked for the glasses, but never found them. They found other things such as cell phones, other glasses, hats, water bottles etc. that were lost.
