The first drive we made was to Venice, Italy. We actually stayed just outside Venice in Cavallino since we arrived after midnight and didn’t want to take the ferry over to Venice. I had made plans to meet up for lunch with a friend of mine who I haven’t seen since we were 11 and in middle school. Her family moved back to the Philippines and we’ve kept in touch since then. It was very nice to finally see her again and to meet her family.
