The past three months have been very humbling and very difficult for me and my family. I have had to rely on others so much for transportation and just simple little every day tasks. It’s very humbling to have to ask for help. My mom has been here helping all of us this whole time and I am very grateful for her. I’ve been able to finally get out of my aircast boot and have been walking around in a regular shoe for about a week, while still relying on crutches a little. I am able to limp around a little without the crutches. My physical therapy sessions are awesome! The boys have grown up so much during this time. They do so many things on their own. They even fight over who gets to bring me the crutches. Lately, since I’m able to walk about a bit without the crutches, it’s so cute to see them surprised to see me standing on my own and Tophie still tries to bring me the crutches. It’s so cute! So, what I want for Christmas is to be able to walk normally and drive again, basically, my independence back!
I forgot to post about the boys and their Thanksgiving feast at school. They have the cutest art projects and costumes. I’m posting it now before Christmas comes.
Xandie is showing us his feast.
Tophie was quite happy and wanted to dance.
