Rain or shine? That was the big question of the day. We planned a pool party for them and the weather forecast all week was about 40% chance for thunderstorms. Fried pre-schoolers were not on the menu that day. It drizzled earlier in the day, and was storming northeast of us. However, the weather held out long enough for our little birthday bash and rained right afterwards. It was a good thing because plan B was a bit of a mess (literally) of a basement kinder disco. We have a disco ball and glow in the dark decorations for a rainy day now.

Our friends came out to celebrate and we had a really good time splashing around. We did a little “photo booth” with some fun props from around the house and dollar store funky glasses.
