We spent both nights in Cherokee. The first night, we had a decent dinner at Butts on the Creek in Maggie Valley. Christopher calls it “Bottoms on the River”. If you go there, you’ll have to try their fudge brownie sundae. I got the ribs, and they were pretty tasty. They are known for their fried corn on the cob. It’s cooked corn on the cob dipped in batter and deep fried. I hear it’s good, but my arteries need to last a while so I didn’t try it.
