We planned a road trip back home to visit Grandma and as many cousins and aunts/uncles as we could. We got to Shreveport and then worked our way over to Plano the next day. I wasn’t thinking correctly, a favorite past time of mine lately, and I didn’t take a picture of everyone we saw. Sorry. So so sorry.

We visited first with my “Funny aunt” and Ashley, then drove to visit my aunt on dad’s side of the family and her restaurant. The boys had a blast and thought it was cool that they could see the kitchen area.

The next day, my “Funny Aunt” had the great idea of taking us on the train between Dallas and Ft. Worth. Well, if you know Christopher, you know that he could hardly contain his excitement about the idea. He had such a great time. Alex, liked it too, but he’s more of an outdoors/gardening type of guy. They got to see engines they’ve never seen before, like the Ferromex (from Mexico). It was funny, because suddenly I saw them waving while saying, “Hola” at the Ferromex.
