Springer Mountain

What’s so special about Springer Mountain? It is the starting point for all hikers who aspire to hike the entire Appalachian Trail (AT). It was fun talking to the people who were about to start their journey. For most, it was their first time, but some have made this journey several times. The experienced hiker volunteered that “Weird things happen along this trail,” and laughed. It was his own inside joke, I guess.
