This was the boys’ first camping trip. We decided to go with our friends, The Ferrises. We started the day off with a hike in GA (Black Rock Mountain), had lunch in NC (Fat Buddies), and then camped in SC (Chatooga River Resort and Campground). The boys did really well. The weather was nice, but a bit cold at night. We learned a lot with this first trip. My friend let us borrow her tent since we didn’t all fit in Wolfgang’s tent that he brought over from Austria.

Would I camp again? Probably. I would like to cook a real dinner in some foil packets or something. I think that is part of the experience, and I definitely need a sleeping bag. I was the only one without one and was freezing!
