We finally got them to walk on the beach. Christopher sat at the boardwalk and refused to take his shoes off. He doesn’t like the sand. He gave in after I told him that he would not be able to go to the kids club that day if he didn’t get on the beach. They cautiously walked, remembering that Alex stepped on a sea urchin last year and got a bunch needles stuck in the bottom of his foot. I think they enjoyed it.
