There have been a few changes at the Cerwinka house. I’ve added two more days to my work week for a total of three days (not by choice). It’s not always rainbows and butterflies here. It’s real. The bitterness and negativity in me wants to quit but the practical side won’t let me. I’ve always loved working only Fridays because it’s at the end of the week. I can catch up with the boys on the weekend, and there is no immediate homework. It has been pretty challenging trying to juggle the kids when I work late the other two days and hoping Wolfgang will pick them up on time. Add in Wolfgang being on-call one of those days and it can get pretty stressful. How do other people do it? It was nice to have grandma here for a few weeks! The boys start school in one month and I still haven’t figured out daycare options yet.

The weekdays may be a bit hectic, but weekends are where we get to spend fun family time! The boys are so cute! You know they miss being at home when all they want to do is play with their toys and not go anywhere. If you know them, you’ll know that they don’t usually like staying at home. Ever since they were very little, they’ve always climbed into their car seats to wait anxiously for us to finish packing. Sometimes they wait for a very long time. We have to pull them out to go to the potty, while they are protesting the entire time that they have to get out of the car.
