Beach Week with Our Friends | Perdido Key, FL

A few months ago, I had the idea of going to the beach with a friend and her kids. It worked out that we could both go the week of July 4th. The boys usually play by themselves at the beach, but this time they had friends and I did too! The kids were not really used to being around their peers for such a long time. It was a great learning experience for them!

Let’s start with a car selfie:

Funyuns are a Cerwinka standard in the car. We spared the cheese puffs and cheetos since we were in my friend’s car.

It wouldn’t be a Perdido Key trip without a stop at Joe Patti’s Seafood! I think the kids had a really good time. The mommies did too. We bought and cooked seafood for the rest of the trip. Yum! Yum! They had great fresh sushi there of course!

The difference between girls and boys: Alex is touching the lobster while S is thinking eeeeew. Don’t hold my hand after you touch that!

Afterwards, we had beignets.
