There’s a story here. The boys love hearing how Opa scared away a bull for Oma from the house they rented. This day was overcast with some sprinkles interspersed throughout our stay. The new house in the old house’s location: Who doesn’t love a little accordion music?

After lunch, we walked to a nearby lake to swim. It’s so beautiful there. I cannot explain or capture how beautiful the walk and the lake were. Alex hiding in a cornfield along the way.

Another celebration was Anneliese’s 50th birthday celebration. We had an awesome lunch in the garden of Schnitzel, fried chicken, potato, green, and bean salads. We wanted to stay semi-local and decided to go to the Riegersburg Castle. We picked-up Isabella and met up with Oma and Opa. The plan was to park their car at the train station and take our 7-passenger car. We lost Opa getting to the parking area. Poor Opa got into a minor fender bender…
