We were planning the whole time to go to Paris as our side trip. Paris, Paris, Paris…?? Then these terrorist attacks happened in November before we went. Hum… We still wanted to go to Paris. The plan was that Oma and Oma were to go with us as a surprise. They didn’t want to go.…

The boys enjoyed hanging out and learning things from their cousins. Flo is very good with them and teaches them a lot. Catching trout in the creek: Alex loves to run around without shoes. However, the splinters love his feet.

We spent some time at Katrin and Tommy’s house. Being the pyrophile that Alex is, as soon as he heard there was going to be a bonfire, he worked non-stop gathering leaves and branches for the fire.
